JOHNNA J. KOPECKY has been an attorney in the Harrisburg law office of The Shagin Law Group, LLC, since 2003. She was admitted to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 1988, and subsequently the United States District Court for the Middle District in Pennsylvania, as well as local bar associations. Johnna concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, real estate, small business set up and planning, and family law. She also represents creditors in the field of Bankruptcy. She was also a former assistant District Attorney for Cumberland County, handling asset seizures and forfeitures.
Johnna earned her B.S. degree from The Pennsylvania State University, and her J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law (now The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University). She has written materials for and lectured to, attorneys and paralegals in the areas of estate planning and administration, real estate title law and procedure, real estate transfer taxes, as well as easements, bankruptcy from the creditor’s side, and mortgage foreclosures.
