CRAIG R. SHAGIN was a graduate of Haverford College (B.A.) and Villanova University School of Law (J.D., cum laude). He was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1980 and subsequently to the U.S. District court for the Eastern and Middle District of Pennsylvania, The United States Supreme Court, and the US Courts of Appeals for the First, Third, Fourth, and Eleventh Circuit.

Prior to opening his own firm, Craig Shagin had been Chief Counsel of the Pennsylvania Department of Commerce, General Counsel of Historic Landmarks for Living in Philadelphia, an associate at the Philadelphia Law Firm of Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis, and a law clerk to the Honorable Edmund B. Spaeth, Jr. Craig is an author of numerous articles on the law and a member of both the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Bar association. Craig is currently also an Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law at the Widener University Commonwealth Law School.
